About American Diabetes Organization

Insurance built by people who understand your situation

Too many people are told no before anyone actually looks at their situation. We started this to change that, one conversation at a time.

Our Story

Why we started asking different questions

For years, the pattern was the same. Someone managing diabetes or another health condition would apply for life or health insurance, and get turned away, sometimes without much explanation. The assumption was simple: harder cases meant automatic no's.

We didn't think that was good enough. So instead of asking "do you qualify," we started asking "which carrier actually works with your situation." That single shift changes the outcome for a lot of families.

"Most people don't need a perfect health record. They need someone willing to look past the first no."

In partnership with Agents First Insurance, American Diabetes Organization connects clients with licensed agents who specialize in exactly these situations, comparing options across multiple carriers instead of defaulting to a single, rigid answer.

We're not a nonprofit, and we're not a government program. We're an independent insurance marketing group built around one idea: your health history shouldn't be the end of the conversation, it should be the start of finding the right fit.

What We Stand For

The principles behind every conversation

Compassion First

We start with your situation, not a script. Every case is different, and we treat it that way.

Full Transparency

No fine print surprises and no pressure tactics, just a clear picture of your real options.

Real Access

We work across multiple carriers, so more people find a plan that actually fits.

Guided Simplicity

We walk you through it step by step, so you always know what happens next.

Independent Agency

Not tied to a single carrier, so the recommendation fits you, not a quota.

Licensed Agents

Every conversation is with a licensed professional, not a call center script.

No Cost to Explore

Comparing your options is free, with no obligation to move forward.

Common Questions

Answers before you even have to ask

Not necessarily. Many people assume a diagnosis automatically disqualifies them, but there are carriers that specialize in coverage for individuals managing diabetes and other health conditions. A licensed agent can walk you through which options may fit your specific situation.
It depends on the plan and carrier. Some coverage options require a medical exam, while others don't for qualifying applicants. Your agent will let you know exactly what's needed for the specific plan you're considering.
Nothing. Comparing your options is free, with no obligation to purchase. You only move forward if you decide a plan is right for you.
Exploring your options with us doesn't change or cancel any existing policy you have. If you decide to move forward with new coverage, your agent will walk you through how it works alongside, or in place of, what you currently have.
A past denial doesn't mean every carrier will say no. We work across multiple carriers specifically because underwriting guidelines vary, a plan that wasn't available to you before may still be worth a second look.
